For Noida-based FCS Software, revenues grew by 52.7% to end
fiscal 2000-01 with revenues of Rs 45.88 crore. The growth, thus, was
consistent to the previous year’s rate of 53%, while net profit was up
46% at Rs 9.1 crore. Revenues were predominantly export-oriented–mainly
from US-centric projects with a bulk of the project being worked on
offshore. Productivity was also up from Rs 7.9 lakh per employee in the
previous fiscal to Rs 10 lakh per employee.
