| Noida-based Cadence Design Systems posted a revenue of Rs 48.8 crore in fiscal 2000-01, a growth of 56% over the previous year. A bulk of the revenues (90%) came from the export of software and services to the US. The JFM quarter was the most profitable, accounting for almost 30% of total revenues. In comparison, the first half brought in just 43%. Employee strength also grew in the year, from 191 to 256, while productivity touched Rs 19 lakh (Rs 16.1 lakh). |
