| Chennai-based Wellwin Industry recorded a turnover of Rs 75 crore in fiscal 2000-2001, a growth of 64% over the previous year. The company is a national distributor for products such as Aver Media, Acer, Elsa, Transcend and Tekram. A bulk of the revenues came from the Seagate and Mercury range. While motherboards from Mercury contributed Rs 30 crore, hard disk drives from Seagate notched up Rs 24 crore. Acer’s keyboards, scanners and CD-ROM’s also did well. |
