| Bangalore-based software solutions company Aztec Software and Technology Services had a great year–it grew by 432%, from a turnover of Rs 15.23 crore last year to Rs 80.7 crore in 2000-2001. Gross profits and net profits also grew by over 350% and 450%, respectively. Operating margins, however, grew only marginally to 24% as the company went on a hiring spree and more than doubled its workforce. Aztec has a good mix of on-site and offshore development. |
