In an interaction with Dataquest, Vivek Dharia, CIO, KNP Securities talk about the year 2016 and what are his plans for 2017. He is majorly responsible for overall IT Infrastructure Management with Network & Security Management. He also has a responsibility to converge internet access for better security control and performance.

“Instead of complaining about how things could have been or should have been. We reflect on everything what we have to be grateful for. As a CIO of my organization, the things to remember in 2017 is that we have found the best solution available, we tackle the problem and move on. We

have used our data to better understand business needs and positively contribute to business strategy” said Vivek Dharia, CIO, KNP Securities.

“We will be building a digital ecosystem in 2017, to create a new level of organizational interoperability which will support the transition to ecosystem participation, especially in analytic, cloud services, digital market management and security. I will also be focusing on the business value of our technology investments, get to know the customers, and re-skill the IT workforce,” he added.

CIOs are always improving their skills at work and bringing new innovations for the company. Vivek is no different from any other CIO. For 2017, Vivek has a resolution to improve his translation and communication skills as well as try to find out more innovative areas.
