Service providers are also willing to experiment with one-off services based on specific opportunity which is perhaps perceived to become a differentiator in due course of time.

The report findings also revealed that:

  • The majority of top services are more or less similar in terms of definition and are part of service portfolio.
  • There are many differentiating services that exist today and a significant focus is on bridging the gap vis-à-vis competition.
  • Many of those who are focusing on bridging the gap in service portfolio are relatively putting equivalent focus on creating additional differentiating services.
  • Service providers are willing to bet upon specific new opportunities
