Reliance Jio extends services as ‘Happy New Year Offer’

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has made many substantial announcements since its inception. From its launch to its range of exclusive offers, every new announcement by the company has been awaited by the public with great interest. This time, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman, RJIL announced that Reliance Jio’s Welcome offer has been extended till March 31, 2017 as a Happy New Year offer.

The offer provides voice calls, 4G data and a bouquet of Jio applications absolutely free to its customers. Earlier, the offer was available till December 31, 2016. Now, with the benefits of Jio Happy New Year offer, the Welcome offer has been extended for three more months for both existing as well as new users. However, the customers will be now limited to use not more than 1 GB of data per day under the Fair Usage Policy (FUP).

Jio SIMs home delivery

Jio introduced home delivery service of Jio SIMs. The SIMs delivered at home can be activated through e-KYC procedure.

Jio Money App

Another application launched was Jio Money merchant app for digital transactions. Customers and merchants can utilize the Jio Money app from December 05, 2016 onwards.

Mobile Number Portability (MNP) service

MNP has now been introduced in Jio SIMs. With MNP service, users can now switch to Jio while retaining their existing mobile number.
