Available through Pega Academy, the official Pegasystems training resource, these courses enable individuals to continue expanding their skillsets to meet evolving client needs. Courses can also be accessed through the new World Economic Forum SkillSET portal, a platform that will provide training and resource opportunities as part of an IT Industry Skills initiative to meet the global skills gap challenge and address job displacement.

As digital transformation continues to be a top priority at the worlds’ largest organizations, many are adopting Pega’s unique model-driven approach to application development and seeking skilled individuals to implement Pega projects. These skills are in high demand. Five independent Pega certifications rank within the 50 top-paying IT certifications for 2017, according to Certification Magazine. To support the expansion of it’s ecosystem, Pega is extending the availability of more than 200 free training courses in the critical areas of artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, mobile, CRM, and no-code application development.

In 2017, Pega’s active certified ecosystem grew by 40 percent.  Almost 60,000 new students enrolled in Pega Academy training courses since they were made free last June at PegaWorld 2017. Those enrolled also have access to the Pega Discovery Network (PDN), a Pega community that serves as a central hub for collaboration, product documentation, articles, thought leadership, forums, and videos on Pega best practices.
