Joule is also changing the way customers are interacting. We federate lot of data sources that speak natural language. You can see how the Joule assistant is helping you. Customers can also lower the hurdle. However, we are currently lacking skilled people in enterprises.

We, at SAP, are starting with university partnerships. We are talking about five generations within the enterprise. We are seeing learning, in context of an app. There are solutions such as ECC – SAP/4 HANA on-premise to SAP/4 HANA for cloud. The processes are also changing! We did a study with IDC. One of the findings was that people can be 15% more satisfied, and 50% more productive.

We are also offering enablement with the context of work. There are learning materials available that supports you with your work. You can even learn more, and explore new knowledge. Customers’ can also scale up very fast. You also need to work on innovation. You are enabled to work with software, in context of your work.

There are still backdoors open. How can SAP help prevent that? Eva said that there are two types of on-premise systems -- access to data, data consistency, etc. The operations are with the customers. Most of the times, backdoor events have happened because of small mistakes, such as misplacement of devices, etc. We need more skilled and trained people. SAP has set of mandatory security training. You also need to work across all fronts. This includes securing the software. However, there is still a risk of employee management.

Code and Gen-AI are also joining forces to shape tomorrow’s agents. Eva added that Code and Gen-AI were announced in SAP. There is need to experiment in businesses. We are now announcing the professional code development for AI. They can be more effective, productive, and efficient. The coding architect will look at how to make that happen in the software. They can capture knowledge and make this happen.

We all need to upgrade, all the time! The role of IT is different with line of business, and security. Customers start conversations regarding cloud. Responsibility shifts within the company. We trust our own data. There are dedicated sessions for customers regarding security. It is a topic of trust.

Next, how are firms navigating challenges of trust, risk, and security in AI-driven enterprises? She said that it largely depends on the models they are implementing. Customers have different topic when there are vendors driving deployment. As SAP, we can answer customer questions, and it is our obligation, and ensure they are running responsibly. On premise, we have different needs. We need to simulate attacks, and protect the software.

Finally, how are Indian startups embracing generative AI, and what's SAP role? She concluded that the Indian startups are at the forefront of adopting AI. Bangalore has a huge ecosystem with whom we are working with. We are thinking about the purpose of embracing technologies.
