DocOnline Bags Best Healthcare Corporate Award

Hyderabad based startup, DocOnline, a virtual platform that provides access to doctor consulting services at the GP level from anywhere one is based, has been conferred with the ‘Best Healthcare Corporate Award’ by PAN-IIM World Management under the Digital India Excellence Awards 2017. The award was presented by KK Sharma, Secretary, MHRD and Justice Rajesh Tandon, Former Judge, Uttarakhand High Court in the presence of Prof. Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh.

DocOnline was chosen for this award for demonstrating excellence in all the parameters from transforming business processes and improving delivery of services to creating a positive impact on society.

PAN-IIM World Management Conference is an annual event initiated by all the 20 Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and is supported by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India and Niti Aayog. The Awards segment has been instituted for the first time this year in its 5th edition under the banner ‘PAN-IIM World Digital Indian Excellence Awards’

Launched in July 2017 with an initial investment of $1 Million through private venture funding and backed by Swedish investors and entrepreneurs, DocOnline has been developed to address a much neglected yet apparent gap amongst individuals on the first step of action when ill. DocOnline is envisioned to offer users easy, reliable and affordable health care access. DocOnline allows one to reach a doctor either through Audio (calling), Video or Chat (App) and connects the patient at the general physician level thus aiming to bring in preventive care.

The 5th Edition of PAN-IIM World Management Conference witnessed a gathering of more than 600 top business leaders, academicians, civil society, policy makers, and government functionaries from central and state level departments.
