Figures in percentage |
|
|
Quite naturally, 90% of
employees in BPOs and 87% in IT services internally use IT; the maximum
reticence remain in gems & jewelry at 32% and surprisingly FMCG at 37% |
|
As expected, maximum CIOs
are coming from an IT background, though a large proportion of them do
have administration experience |
How Emerging Enterprises Audit Their IT?
|

|
|
Almost 7 out of 10 IT
services organizations among emerging enterprises regularly conduct their
IT audits. More than 40% of hotels, banks and BPOs too audit themselves
regularly. At 15% and 16%, the numbers are pathetically low for gems &
jewelry and FMCG respectively, while in other sectors too the numbers are
fairly low. Corporate governance is still a mirage for most emerging
enterprises. |
