Consumer Durable Industry veteran H S Bhatia on Surpluss.in Board as MD

Surpluss.in, India's  e-retailer of Overstock, EOL, Refurbished Branded product deals, has announced the appointment of HS Bhatia as Managing Director of the company. The appointment of Mr. H S Bhatia on board in the capacity of MD is a highly strategic move by the largest recommerce brand to augment its bottom-line.

Under this role, Mr. Bhatia will help drive new business opportunities across both B2C and B2B verticals through strategic alliances for their Online platforms -Surpluss.in and Bizpluss.in. He will also oversee sales and lead in building strategic partnerships with Domestic as well as International clients .

Mr. Bhatia brings over 25 years’ of rich experience and has held senior roles with Bajaj Auto, LG Electronics , Sony India, Bharti Airtel Ltd, DishTV (Zee Group) , and Videocon Industries Ltd. Mr. HS Bhatia brings wealth of Sales, Marketing, Service; and Distribution experience to the company that he gained through a long and successful career spent leading Mobile Handsets, Consumer Electronics,  Automobiles, DTH, Kitchen and Home appliances. He has also handled New Products Identification & Sourcing, especially from China / Taiwan / Korea & is expert in International Alliances for Brands into India and for into Asia, SE Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Recently Surpluss.in, has inducted Mr. Saurabh Rai a former Accenture sales team leader as its CEO and with Mr Bhatia on board, the company seems to be in acceleration mode. Surpluss.in, has an extensive portfolio of branded surplus products that customers are demanding. The launch of its marketplace earlier this year has generated great momentum in consumer sales; meanwhile the brand is driving forward with an active programme of expansion to grow Surpluss and Bizpluss market share in the ecommerce markets.
