Avnet to Showcase Latest IoT Applications at Second Edition of IoT India Expo 2018

Avnet Asia showcased a selection of innovative, smart applications developed for Indian companies at the recent Internet of Things (IoT) India expo from March 7-9 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Attendees learned how Avnet helps companies develop IoT applications to stay ahead of the IoT curve. For instance, the smart coffee machine is capable of real-time remote monitoring of coffee beans consumption, inventory management, revenue per machine and more. Strontium Technology’s smart jewelry IVY, on the other hand is a one of its kind ‘Bluetooth Jewelry’ for women that assures the safety of both the wearer and the jewelry pieces in case of emergency. Also on display was the portable compact tracker that gives the GPS coordinates and also scans and sends the QR code, making it handy for tracking a person’s location as well as the tracking and delivery of items.

Avnet also showcased solutions with suppliers such as Dell EMC for their IoT gateway series, SanDisk for cloud storage devices and Trusted Objects for IoT security and surveillance solutions.
