Amway India partners with Microsoft to launch its first digitally enabled experience center in Bengaluru

Amway India Enterprises, India’s largest direct selling FMCG Company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Amway, USA, launched its first digitally enabled Experience Centre in Bengaluru. Amway India has partnered with Microsoft to conceptualize and design the store with an aim to transform the consumer as well as distributor experience.

A specially created project team from Amway and Microsoft analyzed each and every stage of the distributor/consumer buying pattern to work out a solution which can potentially convert each and every transaction into a lasting memory. The Experience Store leverages multiple new-age technologies such as ‘Augmented Reality’, ‘Gamification’, ‘Virtual Makeover Solution’, ‘Interactive Table Application’ and ‘Virtual Cart’ to give an immersive experience to the user.

Speaking on the occasion, Anshu Budhraja, CEO, Amway India, said, “Amway has set-up some of the best Experience Centres in the world but none which leverage technology in quite the same way. This centre indeed is next gen! This Centre is part of a broader strategy where-in our aim is to leverage the digital technology to transform the distributor and consumer experience. We are targeting to launch more than 10 such Centres over the next 5 years.”

“We are very bullish about India as a market. We are further strengthening our product portfolio, getting into newer product categories like cookware, with a line-up of products. This calendar year alone, we are targeting to launch 10 new products in the country,” added Anshu Budhraja.

Highlights of the Amway Experience Centre

Spread over 24,000 sq. ft., this first of its kind Amway Experience Centre is strategically located on the Indiranagar 100 feet road – one of the upmarket areas of Bengaluru. There are many highlights of Amway’s Experience Centre including:-

  • A 75 inch LED screen at the front façade of the building, and a giant LED wall at the entrance allows the consumers/ distributors to watch engaging videos/content on products/solutions offered by Amway.
  • The wellness zone leverages the augmented reality and gamification to provide users with a unique learning experience on how to remain healthy.
  • The beauty section on the mezzanine floor offers advanced Virtual Makeover Solutions. The users will be able to share the virtual makeover images on the social media as well.
  • The digitally Interactive Table application reveals details like product features, value proposition when a product is placed on it.
  • Virtual cart is another highlight of this stylized store wherein the user does not have to carry a physical cart around the store. Instead, the products can be added to a personalized virtual cart and payment can be done online.
